Four ways to play together
Everyone in a room plays the same puzzle. Pick a mode, a difficulty and the rules, then share the room code or invite friends from the app.
Race
Same puzzle, own boards. First to finish wins.
Everyone solves their own copy. You see each other’s progress, not the numbers.
Blitz
Three minutes. Most points wins.
A point for each right cell, against the clock. Fill your whole board and the win is yours.
Battle
One board. Most points wins.
Every right cell is yours. Streaks multiply your points and golden cells score triple, but a wrong guess costs you.
Knockout
The last one to each checkpoint is out.
For 3 to 6 players. Each checkpoint knocks someone out, until two race to the finish.
Power-ups
Five right in a row earns a power-up. Use it on the opponent you pick, or keep yourself safe. Rooms can also turn them off.
- FreezeAn opponent can’t enter digits for 5 seconds.
- FogCovers a box of an opponent’s board for 8 seconds.
- StealTakes one of an opponent’s cells, and you get a cell.
- ShieldBlocks the next power-up used on you.

Six difficulty levels, from Easy to Extreme, with a thousand puzzles in each.
- Graded by techniqueA puzzle’s level is the hardest solving technique it needs, from hidden singles to chains. No puzzle ever needs a guess.
- Daily challengeA new puzzle every day, a calendar of the ones you’ve solved, and a badge for each month.
- Challenge a friendWin a game, then send it to friends: they race a ghost of your solve.
- Hints that explainA hint fills in a cell and shows why that digit goes there.

Add friends with a six-character code, invite them into your room and see your record against each of them.
Bots
Fill the empty seats with bots that play at Easy, Normal or Strong.

Cheer or tease with emoji during the game.
An account if you want one
Start right away as a guest. Add your email to keep your progress and play on any device.
Questions
Do I need an account?
No. You start as a guest and can play everything straight away. Add your email (Me → Save your progress) to keep your friends and stats, and to sign in on another device. Guests that aren’t played for 90 days are deleted.
Can I play on a computer?
Yes. Open sudokuknockout.com in any browser. You can type the digits with your keyboard.
Is there an app?
The iPhone and Android apps are on the way. Your account works in them and on the web.
How many players fit in a room?
Two to six. Knockout needs at least three.
Which languages does it speak?
English and Turkish. It starts in your phone’s language, and you can change it in Settings.
How do I delete my data?
In the game: Me → Your account → Your data. You can delete all your games and friends and keep the account, or delete the account entirely. More in the privacy policy.
