Delete your account or data

You can delete your Sudoku Knockout data, or your whole account, yourself at any time: in the game, on the web or in the iPhone and Android apps. Deleting is immediate and can’t be undone.

In the game

• Open the Me tab and tap Your account.
• Under Your data, choose Delete all data or Delete account, and confirm.

What is deleted

• Delete all data: your games and your part in online games, your statistics, your daily and puzzle times, your friends, friend requests, room invites and challenges. The account stays, with its name, avatar, friend code and email address.
• Delete account: the account itself and everything in it, its name, avatar, friend code and email address too. The device you do it on starts over as a new guest.

What is kept

• The rooms you played in stay for the other players, without you.
• Feedback you sent stays, without a link to you, for as long as we need it to deal with it.
• Our service providers keep their technical logs for their usual short periods.

Without the game

If you can’t open the game, write to [email protected] from the email address on your account and ask us to delete it. We delete it within 30 days and tell you by email.

A guest (an account without an email address) can only be deleted in the game, since nothing else shows it’s yours. A guest that isn’t played for 90 days is deleted by itself.
